HABIT 7 (Part 1) : Sharpen the Saw: Principles of Balanced Self-Renewal

Physical Dimensions

The physical dimension involves taking care of the body – eating healthy foods, enough rest and relax, and exercise regularly. If we do not have a regular exercise program, in the end we are will let health problems arise. New program should start gradually, in accordance with the latest research findings.

The greatest advantage of taking care of yourself is development “Muscle” Habit 1 of proactivity.

Spiritual Dimension

The spiritual dimension is your center, the commitment to your value system. He illustrated above sources that inspire and elevate you and binding you to the eternal truth of man.

Mental Dimensions

It is important to keep your mind sharp by reading, writing, managing and planning. Declare and show yourself against great thoughts.

Television is the greatest obstacle to mental renewal. Many of television programs is a waste of time. Every day we have to make commitments of at least an hour for renew in three dimensions: physical, mental, spiritual. Exercise this is a “Daily Personal Victory”.

Social / emotional dimensions

The physical, spiritual and mental dimensions are closely related to the habit 1, 2 and 3: personal vision, leadership and management. The social dimension / emotionally focused on Habit 4, 5 and 6: leadership principles, empathetic communication and creative cooperation.

Our emotional life is first developed and loaded in relation to the other. Renewal of social / Emotional needs attention and practice in our interactions with other people.
